Safety-Care for Families – Essential Skills

This class is intended for parents/caregivers/family members, and is open to the public. Essential Skills topics include: collaboration with professionals, legal issues, challenging behavior, reinforcement, safety habits, managing your own behavior, differential reinforcement, antecedents to challenging behavior, triggers, signals, basic principles of de-escalation, and development of a comprehensive family safety plan.

The course is free to families currently receiving services through Woodfords. The fee for all others is $50.
