As a Woodfords' Ed Tech II:

•You work directly with the students providing hands on guidance while helping them meet their individualized goals.
•You help guide them toward fulfilling their potential for cognitive, social and emotional growth and maturation.
•You will be a member of the Early Childhood program working independently with a child and cooperatively with a team.
•Your schedule is Monday - Friday allowing you to maintain a work/life balance.

We invest in you and provide you with paid training & opportunities for advancement! We will teach you the skills and strategies needed to be successful.


Compensation/Pay:
•$13.50 to $15/hour (depending on education and experience)



Qualifications of an Ed Tech II:
•A minimum of 60 college credit hours required; Associate's degree preferred in: special education, early childhood or a related field.
•A minimum of two years' experience preferred and the desire to work with children with special needs.
•Ability to work a year-round, Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm schedule
•Good documentation skills
•A positive attitude and high energy level

About the role of a School-Based BHP:

As a Woodfords' School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP),
•You will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent with special needs within Sabattus/Litchfield school system working on behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, as well as community inclusion.
•You will use strategies based on the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and learning deficits in children with developmental disabilities.
•You will be a key member of the School-Based Day Treatment program working independently with the child and cooperatively with a treatment team.
•Your schedule will be as needed to meet coverage needs.

Woodfords' School Based Day Treatment Services program provides assessment and treatment of developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders for children. Structured therapeutic services are designed to improve a child's functioning of daily and community living. The program includes individual and group treatment, and therapeutic treatment oriented to develop a child's emotional and physical capability in areas of interpersonal functioning.


Full-time School-Based BHPs needed to support preschoolers Monday through Friday during school hours within preschools in the following towns:
•Chelsea
•Jefferson
•Whitefield


The Role of a School-Based BHP:

As a Woodfords' School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP),
•You will work one-on-one with a 5th grade student with special needs within the either the Chelsea, Whitefield, or Jefferson school systems working on behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, as well as community inclusion.
•You will use strategies based on the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and learning deficits in children with developmental disabilities.
•You will be a key member of the School-Based Day Treatment program working independently with the child and cooperatively with a treatment team.
•Your schedule may be flexible allowing you to maintain a work/life balance.

We will teach you the skills and strategies needed to be successful.


Key Qualifications of a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP):
•90 college credit hours required in psychology, social services, education, or related field (for those in pursuit of a graduate degree in behavior analysis, BCBA independent fieldwork supervision available)
•Ed Tech III certification required
