Thank you to all the first responders on the scene at the Westbrook Community Center tonight. We are grateful everyone got out safely, and our hearts go out to all of the community groups displaced by the fire. The Westbrook Community Center is truly a special place. Woodfords is actively planning to temporarily relocate our programs for preschoolers and adults with disabilities to make sure services are uninterrupted. Stay tuned for more information, and message or call us at (207) 878-9663 if you have questions about services. The Westbrook Community Center experienced a fire tonight and we will not be opening tomorrow. No one was hurt and everyone got out alright. The building escaped any major structural damage, but we won't have heat or electricity until repairs to the transformer can be completed. We’ll have more details on Tuesday, but it appears that we may be down for a bit. In the meantime, if you have questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. ... See MoreSee Less

Should we plan for the extension kids to stay home today?
So sorry to hear about this terrible fire. Glad no one was hurt, that’s the main thing.
