Woodfords Family Services is excited to be part of a campus that has recreational trails, gardens, a farmyard, a cafeteria and market, and a YMCA!

We are excited to hire additional Ed Tech IIIs to be part of our growing team at our new location on the gorgeous Pineland Campus in New Gloucester!

About the Role of a Education Technician III/Ed Tech III:

As a Woodfords' Ed Tech III:
1. You work directly with the students ages 2 to 5 providing hands-on guidance while helping them meet their individualized goals.
2. You help guide them toward fulfilling their potential for cognitive, social and emotional growth and maturation.
3. You will be a member of our Pineland Early Childhood Education program working independently with a child and cooperatively as part of a team.

•This is a full-time, year-round position
•Your schedule is Monday - Friday, allowing you to maintain a work/life balance
•This position requires that you have 90 college credits

Compensation/Pay:
•$14.50 to $16/hour (depending on education and experience)

•Additional $0.50/hour increase if hired with current Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification



Key Qualifications of an Ed Tech III:
•A minimum of 90 credit hours required; Bachelor's degree preferred, in special education, early childhood or a related field.
•A minimum of two years' experience preferred and the desire to work with children with special needs.
•Ability to work a year-round, Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 3:30 pm schedule
•Good documentation skills
•A positive attitude and high energy level

Role of the Behavioral Health Professional (BHP):

As a Woodfords' Children's HCT Behavioral Health Professional (BHP):
•You will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent with special needs providing regular home and community visits with individuals and their families, both independently and together.
•You will maintain compliance with all regulations related to DHHS, documentation and billing.
•You will help implement treatment plans.
•You will be a key member of the Home & Community Treatment program working independently with the child and cooperatively with a treatment team.
•Your schedule may be flexible allowing you to maintain a work/life balance.

Key Qualifications of a HCT Behavioral Health Professional (BHP):
•Bachelor's degree is required (Bachelor's in social services, human services, health or education preferred).
•Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field will be considered.
•Ability to work independently in home and community settings required.
•Expectation of completing the full Behavioral Health Professional Certification within one year of date of hire.
•Candidates will have a valid Maine Driver's license; have the use of a reliable vehicle.
•Flexibility to work late afternoons and early evenings, and possibly weekend hours.
