Participants will learn safe\, accurate\, and appropriate methods of administering medications. Test scores are reported on the final day of the course. Participants are required to attend all scheduled classes. Additional Requirements for Participants: Must be 18 years of age or older\, must possess a high school diploma or GED\, must be currently employed by a facility where the class participant is able to complete the required medication passes.\nAll classes are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and all students must be able to attend class on all three dates. Price does not include medication passes. \nNote this training is over three days and attendance is required each day

SUMMARY:CRMA Day 2 Topsham (3 day course)
DESCRIPTION:This state approved course is required for direct support professionals who are responsible for the administration of medications. Discussion topics include regulations and procedures\, effects of medications\, precautions\, handling and storage of medications\, the rights and safety of clients\, and documentation. Participants will learn safe\, accurate\, and appropriate methods of administering medications. Test scores are reported on the final day of the course. Participants are required to attend all scheduled classes. Additional Requirements for Participants: Must be 18 years of age or older\, must possess a high school diploma or GED\, must be currently employed by a facility where the class participant is able to complete the required medication passes.\nAll classes are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and all students must be able to attend class on all three dates. Price does not include medication passes. \nNote this training is over three days and attendance is required each day

Created by youth\, the campaign is intended to engage schools\, organizations and communities to pledge their support at www.r-word.org and to promote the inclusion and acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
