Participants are required to attend all scheduled classes. Additional Requirements for Participants: Must be 18 years of age or older\, must possess a high school diploma or GED\, must be currently employed by a facility where the class participant is able to complete the required medication passes.\nAll classes are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm and all students must be able to attend class on all three dates. Price does not include medication passes. \nNote this training is over three days and attendance is required each day

DESCRIPTION:Discussing sexuality and personal boundaries with children can be difficult for even the most confident parents. It can be even more challenging to have these conversations with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. However\, because research shows that children with developmental disabilities are at a higher risk of being sexually abused or exploited\, it is important that parents educate their children about their bodies\, how to set personal boundaries and how to stay safe.
