DESCRIPTION:This class is intended for parents/caregivers/family members\, and is open to the public. Essential Skills topics include: collaboration with professionals\, legal issues\, challenging behavior\, reinforcement\, safety habits\, managing your own behavior\, differential reinforcement\, antecedents to challenging behavior\, triggers\, signals\, basic principles of de-escalation\, and development of a comprehensive family safety plan. \nThe course is free to families currently receiving services through Woodfords. The fee for all others is $50.
