"My experience at Woodfords has been incredibly meaningful. I’ve been a BHP for 3 years now and since day one I have felt supported by my supervisors and the behavioral analysts I work with. The culture at Woodfords is inclusive and encouraging, I've felt accepted and have been pushed to do my best every day." – Maddy Provencher, Behavioral Health Professional

“Maddy is a fantastic BHP who makes a significant impact on the consumers she works with. Her interest in Applied Behavior Analysis is beneficial to the team and allows for great collaboration. Maddy has always been great at advocating for her consumers to ensure all their needs are met.” – Torie Catrett, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

“Maddy is an amazing asset to the Woodfords Rehabilitative & Community Support and School Based departments. She is knowledgeable, always open to hearing ideas and collaborating, and has the best outcomes for each of her consumers in mind at all times. It is a joy to get to supervise Maddy, as her sunny disposition and positivity are contagious. Her consumers love her and so do we!” – Elizabeth England, Field Supervisor

Maddy works as a BHP in both our Rehabilitative & Community Support (RCS) program and our School Based Services (SBS) program.

Woodfords’ Rehabilitative & Community Support (RCS) services, provides one-on-one support to children with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays so that they may become active participants in both family and community life. A BHP works with a child in their home and/or community on specific goals to increase their skills in behavior management, communication, independent living, self-care, self-help and socialization. Is a treatment for children who need highly structured programming in order to make progress. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops the treatment plan for children receiving this service. Goals are based on methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Woodfords’ School Based Services (SBS) program provides assessment and treatment of developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders for children. Structured therapeutic services are designed to improve a child’s functioning of daily and community living. The program includes individual and group treatment, and therapeutic treatment oriented to develop a child’s emotional and physical capability in areas of interpersonal functioning. The child’s family is involved in treatment planning and service provision. Each child’s treatment team includes a Licensed or Conditionally Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor, a Behavior Health Professional (BHP) and may include a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The School Based Services program utilizes the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to assess and analyze a child’s behavior and functional limitations and utilizes this assessment to develop an individualized behavior plan targeting behaviors that interfere with a child’s success at school.
