SibShop Program
SibShops are a celebration of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of people with special health and developmental needs. This national program’s primary goal is to increase the availability of peer support and education opportunities for these brothers and sisters.
During our SibShop sessions we acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with special needs is for some a good thing, for others a not-so-good thing, and for many, somewhere in-between. Most importantly, we provide an environment where siblings are able to connect and share with their peers who are in similar situations. SibShops are a spirited mix of new games (designed to be unique, off-beat, and appealing to a wide ability range), new friends, and discussion activities. Our program is designed for children ages 6 – 11.
