Happy Birthday Club 21 Social! Woodfords Family Services' November 20 Wine Tasting Benefit raised more than $750.
More than 50 people attended Woodfords' second annual Wine Tasting Benefit in support of Club 21 Social on Sunday, November 20. Ned Swain, Devenish Wines, provided the the wines and Ian Farnsworth, Slainte Wine Bar and Lounge hosted the event. Chuck Muldoon, acoustic guitarist, set the mood.
Guests sampled 10 wines. Three favorites were Castell Silvaner Trocken 2009, white; Dewey Kelly Pinot Noir 2007, red; and Henry Varney Blanc de Blanc NV, sparkling. Sampled wines could be ordered through Aurora Provisions, with a percentage of the sales going to Club 21.
Club 21 Social is a monthly dance party for adults 21+ with developmental disabilities.
