Philosophy: "To encourage professional development and lifelong learning for students, families, paraprofessionals, and professionals who provide services to children/youth with special needs".
Woodfords Family Services’ Training and Resource Center is committed to providing quality training to employees so that they may gain the knowledge and skills that will help them excel in their positions and in their professional development. We also offer periodic advanced training topics that have been identified as an area of interest or need for more learning by our employees, consumers, and families.
The Training and Resource Center produces a quarterly catalog of course schedules for our employees, local agencies, and the general public. We are able to offer many of the courses listed in our quarterly catalog at alternative dates and times, as well as on-site, for agencies and organizations who plan to enroll five or more employees.
