| Toddlers and Families |
|
Services provided: Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 am to 11:15 am This program follows a typical school calendar. The program for toddlers/families with special needs provides toddlers with developmentally appropriate experiences and activities while addressing goals and objectives in the areas of cognition, speech/language development, gross and fine motor development and social-emotional/behavioral development in a strong, family focused, classroom environment. There are built-in opportunities for family training and support. Experienced professionals who are presently part of the Woodfords Family Services, Early Intervention Services Team, run the program. This kind of comprehensive toddler/family program is not available in this community and therefore will address a need that is not presently met. Portions of the program are billable to Child Development Services and Medicaid. Services that are not billable and are provided by the grant include coordination, facilities costs, materials and supplies, family support and training. |
