Club 21 Social

Club 21 Social is a monthly party for adults 21+ with developmental disabilities. The program was intiated by Robert Fairbrother, a Woodfords Family Services' Board Member and 20-year client, after speaking with a parent about "aging out" of social activity programs. There is a need for adult social activities!

Although administered by Woodfords, Club 21 is open to any adult, 21+, with special needs. Monthly attendance averages 30 partiers. Club 21 has been held the fourth Saturday of each month. Starting May 5, 2012, Club 21 Social will be held the first Saturday of each month. The cover charge is $5 (providers are free).

Club 21 Social has received generous funding through the Rines/Thompson and Maine Charity Foundation Funds of the Maine Community Foundation. Club 21 is also supported by DJ Billy B., Hannaford, Jimmy the Greeks, Never Quiet Entertainment, photographer Vickie Gelinas, Shaw's and community friends.
